Two Flexible Learning Spaces
This year, we were able to create two new flexible learning spaces that are already being well-used.
In our ASDT room, students are learning to use tools to create some pretty impressive projects. This week, our grade 2's and 3's used a router (with expert, adult support) to bevel the edges of a piece of wood, which they are using to make key holers for Fathers Day gifts.
In our Learning Commons, students are filming, researching, writing and reading, sharing their thoughts and ideas.
We believe the addition of these two spaces at McNeely will lead to more engaged learners, creative and critical thinkers, and students who can use principles of design to build and invent and transform materials.
