Walking Interviews 2

In February and March after meeting with our school story consultants, we reworded two of our questions and went out to do some more gathering of evidence. Again, we used walking interviews with students who were outside on one of their two thirty minute "runch" breaks. The list of whom were chosen to be interviewed was created by randomly selecting 2 students from each of our school's 14 divisions. Students were recorded using "voice memo" and then their answers were transcribed later.

This time, the questions we asked were:

1) Can you name 2 adults in the school that believe in you and think that you will do well?

2) If so, how do these adults show that back?

3) What is one big idea that you are learning about in your class?
