October 2025 Evidence Post
| What targeted actions did we take to address our school’s learning focus? | - Adminstration of a schoolwide reading assessment (Richmond Formative Reading Assessment/RFRA)
- District Literacy Collaboration Time for teachers to plan in grade groups for alignment
|
| What gap or problem do these actions aim to address? Why was this particular strategy/action chosen? | - Collaboration between classes to ensure alignment of goals and skills being targeted for students within the same grade
- Our aim is to have students move on to the next grade with a clear foundation of skills that the teachers can build upon in the following year
|
| Based on quantitative and qualitative data (including feedback from scanning), how effectively has this strategy addressed the identified gap or problem? | - At the time of this post, our RFRA Data supports our choice of School Learning Story Focus; our District Collaboration time has yet to take place
|
| How will we move forward accordingly? What adjustments do we need to make if we have or have not achieved our goals? | - Teachers will be planning for cross-class alignment for reading instruction and targeting of skills during our District Literacy Collaboration time
- Necessary adjustments and impact of instructional strategies will become clearer once teachers have had a chance to implement the plans from their Literacy Collaboration Time
